Ramadan Community Fridges

Ramadan Community Fridges is a community-driven initiative and was started by an Australian expat in 2017.

The idea is to place many sharing fridges across different areas in Dubai and stock each one with food for those in need throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

Dubai residents shall move around to participate in this campaign through Ramadan Sharing Fridges page that already has over 25000 members.

Items to place in the fridge:

-Drinks
-Water
-Laban
-Dates
-Biscuits
-Fruits
-Vegetables


Alternatively, If you have cooked a bit more than usual, put some in a container and drop off to one of the fridges.

Supermarket chain Carrefour is offering discounts of up to 77% on thousands of items as part of a massive sale for Ramadan, which includes food and non-food products.
